From the New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg, comes a new series about three brothers, the job that calls them, and the women who challenge them.

“I hate you. I never want to see you again.”

Grant Malone is not the reason I moved back to Sunnyville—at least that’s what I tell myself. Yet, those parting words I said to him back in third grade, ring in my ears every time a townsperson brings up one of the Malone boys. I thought time had healed my wounds. I was wrong. Nothing could have prepared me for how I felt when I finally saw him again.

Twenty years does a lot to turn a boy into a man. One who hits all my buttons—sexy, funny, attractive, and a police officer. But Grant is off limits because he knows too much about my past.

But I’m drawn to him. That damn uniform of his doesn’t hurt either. It’ll be my downfall. I know it.

What’s one night of sex going to hurt . . . right?

I’ve always loved Emmy Reeves.

That’s why I’m shocked to see her all these years later. The shy girl I once knew is all grown up.

Adventurous and full of life, she owns my heart now, just as much as she did back then. Convincing her of that is a whole different story.

I’ll give her the one night she asks for—like that’s a hardship—but when it comes to letting her walk away after, she has another thing coming. There’s no way in hell I’m letting her go this time without a fight.

Women often say a good man is hard to find. And a hard man is even better.

That’s why I’m quite a catch— good, hard, loaded, and wait for it…I’m ready to settle down too. But the woman I want to pitch my tent with is precisely the one I need to stay far away from.

After that fantastic night with Mia Summers, I’m ready to give her many more. But there’s a hitch in my plans — she just hired my company. If there’s one thing I’m committed to, it’s running a squeaky clean adventure tour business. One of the iron-clad rules?

Don’t screw your customers.

I can follow my own guidelines. After all, it’s only a week-long trip with Mia and her employees over the trails and down the hills I guide them on. I can obey the rules—even if it’s hard in the woods.

I’m about to give myself a badge of honor when the storm of the century hits, sending everyone else running for cover, but us—my biggest temptation and me, alone for a long weekend. You don’t screw the client, especially when you’re already in love with her . . .

But what’s a guy to do when she’s so hard to resist?

Play Harder (Hot for Him #2)Play Harder by J.T. Fox

Pure Hot, raw sex that was so alpha male it was leaking testosterone through the ereader. This was the first 10%.

It picks up the story where we left off, it is a series and a really good one, it has all I like in a book, well written, a storyline, this one is a mystery and I was stunned at the ending! Not expecting it at all. A good cliffhanger. And damn hot sex scenes between two hunks, of men.

The characters continue to develop personally, as well as this plot. I am not saying anything else as the story is a mystery, a great second in the series. Very much looking forward to the third and final.

J.T Fox has exploded onto my radar, I enjoy her writing. Look forward to another series and or genre in the future also.

Listened on Audible.

I enjoyed this story. I loved the plot and how it developed, I think I expected a bit more from 'Mister Moneybags' himself, i wanted him to be disgustingly powerful and I found him really nice lol, which isn't a bad thing, just not what I had in my mind.

Anyhow, a great listen and I can't wait to listen to more from this author.

Oh THIS ONE!!! This one!!!! I always say I am looking forward to a Lauren Blakely , but this one!
I am on the floor as I am overcome with swoon and meltiness right now!

I am all about the Joy of his Ride!!!

To say I have been looking forward to this one since I heard the title would be an understatement! I have been waiting for him not ever so patiently. I am delighted that Lauren wrote the nuts out of this!

Henley and Max are a match made in heaven, she is back in town as a competitor, last seeing Max when she left his garage on a sour note. Time has not healed the wounds and with pride, hurt and no trust in the equation, it may take more than being forced to work on a project and some seriously hot cars to weld a friendship back together here.

Hot cars, made even hotter by what goes on, on top of them, swoon worthy moments, I tell you, Max is my perfect man. I am done. He made my perfect car, he does the most swoon worthy, sexy things and is just, well look at it!!

The Player (The Player, #1)The Player by K. Bromberg

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Kristy injected passion, heart and soul into this book and I am counting down the days to get my mitts on 'The Catch'

Easton & Scout, The Player and his new physical therapist. Not the therapist he was expecting, which leads to not the typical first meeting, and from there this chemistry between the two is ignited.
Scout has so much riding on Easton's recovery that she is also truly guarded and really afraid of letting the spark she felt develop into anything more.

The confident Easton is not one to sit back and rest on his laurels though, not on or off the pitch, he is determined to get what he wants. Passion, emotion, drama well written content and characters and an ending which had me looking for the release date of the next in the series.... I am hooked on baseball players!

It has the same 'plodding along' feel that I got from The girl on a train, i enjoyed it, but wish it had a faster pace, or something more within the first 3/4's to really really grip me then it would have been a 5 star read.

I had no clue, I thought all sorts of things were going on, but when it says 'twisty' 'chilling' etc, then this is what I got from the last bit.... Left me thinking thats for sure.

I had the pleasure of listening on Audible!

Oh my oh my, both narrators did an exquisite job of bringing the characters to life, Andi Arndt & Zacchary Webber. Two of my favourites in fact.

Now the book, a second chance romance and with some serious grovelling to do over the way things ended, Tyler takes it upon himself to get down to basics, basically laying it all out there for Delaney to see. Hoping for a chance...... you know....

With a wonderful nurturing side, a romantic, sexy and passionate, and not forgetting he is a smart dresser for his job, Tyler is hot in and out of the sexy times! Delaney can certainly match him, and i loved getting to know Lauren's latest 'Hot Ones' they certainly provided some spark for my headphones!

Ok, this was written well, I enjoyed the story and the narration. I did think it was who it was in the end, which is unusual for me, considering there could have been 50 people who did it, (ok, slight exaggeration) because every male the heroine came into contact with seemed to fancy her, want her or she wanted.
She did have an obsession with sticking to her favourite running route despite it being the centre of crimes, which left me speechless at times..... She wasn't stupid. It almost made me feel like she was attention seeking. I was addicted to this character and her behaviour and dealings with the people in her life.

Enjoyable, a character that leaves you thinking for sure.

Toying between 3-4 stars on this one... It a great story i did enjoy it, knowing that she is a murderer from the beginning is such a different take on things.... but all i can say is that it could have been shorter then. Things dragged on.

I got so annoyed with Callie on numerous occasions and it isn't bad thing for me to dislike a main character at times!

Try it...

I have had this on my list for ages, so was excited to get it in a buy on get on free inaudible....
I was expecting a lot from this, and I did enjoy the story, but I think there were some loose ends for me and an abrupt ending. And I was left wanting some more from the story as it was an intriguing one with the dynamics of friendships and this 'list' and the perception of pretty and ugly.

I will read more from the author.

The narration was perfection bringing the story and characters to life, and this 'perfect house'. Of course, nothing is perfect and everything has a flaw. All the characters have their flaws in this book, they were all battling in my head at one time for their status as the bad guy.

I had no clue. so the book won!

The author was in no rush to tell the story and I really enjoyed all aspects, never boring, always eager to get back to listening and I want to see this on the big screen, the house come to life and see if it is as alive as it felt in my imagination.

I look forward to reading/listening to more from this author.
